Record-Breaking Achievement for Battersea Parkrun, UK

On Saturday, April 26, eight-year-old Lily Janmohamed achieved an incredible feat by completing a 5k run at Battersea Parkrun in South West London in just 20 minutes and 16 seconds. Incredible, well done Lily!!

Looking ahead, Lily has set her sights on breaking the 20-minute barrier for a 5k run and making it official with Guinness World Records.

Her father, Faizal said: "I am beyond proud of Lily for what she achieved. Watching her give everything she had, from the very first step to the sprint at the finish line, was one of the most emotional moments I've had as a father."
